Much good information about the Web is available on the Web itself. If I gave a lot of specific URLs here, many of them would invariably suffer linkrot and turn out to be a waste of your time. Also, having to type in URLs is a painful exercise that should be avoided as much as possible.
Thus, instead of giving a listing of URLs here, I refer you to my hotlist of recommended sites:
