There’s no question that Second Life is fun to explore. There’s always something happening and always something new to see. However, SL is first and foremost a community of people—a wonderful place to meet others, hang out, and become friends.
Second Life is also, increasingly, a mechanism for real-world communication and commerce. This means that you can use SL not just to make social connections, but also to make money. Jobs or careers in SL are yet another way to explore your interests, and to meet other residents who are interested in what you like.
