Appendix C. WebSphere Business Modeler Installation

There are two editions of WebSphere Business Modeler v6.0.2: Basic and Advanced. A Publishing Server also is available for Business Modeler, which allows business models to be published and shared on the Internet for collaboration purposes. This appendix shows you how to install the Advanced edition of WebSphere Business Modeler, because it offers simulation and dynamic analysis capabilities. Both the Basic and the Advanced versions can be installed either as a stand-alone Eclipse-based tool or as a plug-in to the WebSphere Integration Developer (WID). As a stand-alone component, WebSphere Business Modeler can be installed only on the Windows 2000 or Windows XP platforms.
