Chapter 5 The Big Question
Somewhere in Phase 3 of the family@business life cycle, the Next Gen comes to an age at which they start to make long-term career decisions. Decisions taken at this stage are crucial for the future. Now comes a delicate time: will one or more of your children step into the family@business? If not, you have to consider alternative scenarios that we will explain in Chapter 12. If yes, then the following Big Question needs to be considered carefully before they can step into the Next Generation leadership and become entrepreneurs.
