In this chapter you will learn the various issues and restrictions associated with building a directory using the supported Cisco IP Phone XML objects and HTTP headers. This chapter also demonstrates how to create and deploy an IP Phone directory. You will learn all the necessary techniques to build your own custom directories through the samples in this chapter.
