JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) is an interesting creation. It enables you to convert JavaScript objects and arrays into strings that can be passed over a network or stored in a database. Later, these strings can be reconstituted on another computer or after database retrieval. This capability to serialize and inflate JavaScript objects and arrays opens up possibilities.
