6. Embedding Google Maps
One capability often needed in iPhone applications is the use of maps. There are several ways to display maps from closing the application and launching the standard iPhone Map application to using a standard Google map. Both approaches have limitations. This chapter discusses how to create and use a Google-based map that looks and behaves like the iPhone Map application without closing the application.
