The purpose of the research-based pedagogy in this book is for international EFL/ESL students and visiting scholars, such as those in the U.S. Fulbright and Humphrey Fellowship programs, know how to write better from a linguistic, intercultural literacy, and disciplinary perspective. The secondary purpose is to help them produce a graduate-level research paper or publishable article in English.
