Document Conversion
We often think of converting image and video files from one format to another. It is such a commonplace operation that we don’t think about it at all, it just happens routinely. Oddly, we don’t think of converting other kinds of data quite so readily.
As a rule, spreadsheet data and word processor documents seem to be entered as Microsoft Office or Open Office content and that’s where they usually stay.
If we can free ourselves a little from that straitjacket, we can perform some remarkable things with that textual data. It is quite amazing how easy it is to process the contents of those document formats if we are prepared to export them to another form.
