In the previous chapter, you learned how to implement some "smart" techniques for providing a dynamic editing experience in InfoPath forms. Even though the main InfoPath scenarios relate to forms, InfoPath is not merely a Microsoft Office version of a forms builder application. The ability to build forms based on XML technology makes InfoPath as powerful as a forms application. In addition, InfoPath’s form controls interface fully supports the structured nature of XML, along with formatted and rich text. You can design InfoPath forms with rich fields, structured and dynamic sections, multiple views, and calculations.
