Composing Your Personal Credo

OVERVIEW

Leadership is personal. It’s about leaders and their relationship with others. If people don’t believe in the messenger, they won’t believe the message. If people don’t believe in the leaders, they won’t believe in what they say. This activity helps current and future leaders explore their beliefs, values, and principles to begin to create their personal credos.

OBJECTIVE

  • To be able to articulate who you are, what you believe, and what you stand for, which is the first step toward being a credible leader.

AUDIENCE

Current or emerging leaders in any size group.
