Source Configuration Management and Version Control Management refer to the process of managing and controlling access and changes to Source Code. It involves storing source code and configurations within a repository with restrictive access, allowing authorized users to create, modify, update, and delete the source code and configurations in a controlled manner, and maintain the history of all such changes. It provides appropriate automation for code conflict resolution, parallel development paths, comparison of files, and reverting to previous specific versions.
