It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
11. White Marble Fresco Transfer
This project will create a digital fresco using the gelatin transfer process shown in the last chapter, and is a good first project to learn those techniques. The final image will have a wonderfully textured surface that looks like plaster.
After we complete the basic White Marble Fresco Transfer process, we’ll tackle two variations: the Gelatin Glaze Layered Fresco and the White Fresco Distressed Print transfer processes. The first, more advanced process involves placing additional transparent or translucent layers onto the surface, so that parts of the underlying image show through.
