INTRODUCTION AND CONCEPT

I’ve always been fascinated by the world of Sumo and its ancient traditions. The name Sumo comes from the Japanese word “Sumai”, which means “struggle”, and is one of the most ancient combat forms. The best fighters (Sumotori) had a privileged social status.
