INTRODUCTION

I’ve been drawing characters with digital media for years, ever since I began messing around with the Smudge tool in Photoshop Elements when I was 14. I started out very cartoony but developed a fondness for digital painting a few years ago, realizing that this could give my characters much more depth and mass, making them more real and believable somehow.
