Introduction

Mobile devices include cell phones, smartphones, and table devices. Cell phones and smartphones share many common capabilities, but smartphones can also perform many tasks often associated with a computer. Many mobile devices include one or more cameras, a geographic positioning system (GPS), and other technologies that are often linked to the Internet. A cell phone is actually a specialized radio with an antenna, microphone, speaker, keypad, display, and battery. Mobile phones operate via frequencies over wireless cell networks. These cell networks are maintained by towers and switching stations.
