Chapter 16. Files and Servers
A web page is an HTML file that is stored on a web server.
A server is a computer with software installed on it that allows it to send and receive requests for web pages.
A client is a computer running software, such as a web browser, that sends requests to the server. When you click a link on the web, your computer sends a request to the server through the web browser and the server returns the requested web page.
