2Performation: Out of Bounds (and Beyond Language)

2.1. The question of performativity, at the heart of the production of digital organizations

2.1.1. Inheritance and openings

The Moeva case has shown us how an entire array of scripts could be created, and how their co-functionality could be implemented: their form of mobilization (how one script mobilizes another script), their reinforcement, or their conflict (the imposition of another activity model or another techno-political approach). By being attentive to “what they do and have done” we have made explicit a part of the chain of proofs, formatting as they are performative processes.

It should be recalled that the scripts are presented as an organized set of utterances (not exclusively linguistically) with the capacity to affect and to bring about the world they indicate. Innovation can be seen as a struggle between scripts, for the ability to gain the upper hand and to impose their models of action.

We are going to make use of other cases as well, in order to examine different performation configurations, to deepen, in particular, the weaving together of the populations of technical and human beings with their grammars and combinations with the many interconnected passions that run through them. But this will also serve to deepen the new offshoots that these textures support in their assemblages (both in the private and/or public sector, and in the area of government policies).
