The Terminology of Digital Painting: Vector and Raster
Now that you have the digital illustration and digital painting software packages installed, it’s time to get into underlying concepts that span digital illustration and digital painting. Digital imaging software, such as GIMP, Photoshop, and PaintShop Pro are based on “raster” or pixel-based technologies.
