You might think that because you’re working on websites or mobile apps, you’re not working on products. Or maybe your clients are nonprofit organizations that don’t appear to sell anything at all.

After all, you’re probably used to thinking of products as foods, appliances, personal care items, and so on. Products are manufactured. Products are things that you shop for at supermarkets, department stores, or electronics stores. They’re things you can hold or set up at home and then use. They’re things that help you get stuff done or make your life better.
