CREATING DIGITAL SIGNAGE ENVIRONMENTS

The benefit of digital signage applications for point-of-purchase and other public areas is not only that it can spread a message in lots of locations. It can also create a certain environment or atmosphere in the same way at many places at the same time. The ability to centrally control what is being shown at many locations gives new possibilities to publicizing a certain profile, which is important when branding products.

In this chapter, we will take a closer look at some environments using digital signage systems. These installations are all over the world, including my home country, Sweden.
