THE FUTURE OF DIGITAL SIGNAGE SYSTEMS
The future will most certainly provide larger, better, thinner, and cheaper display devices. This greatly increases the number of possible applications for all kinds of digital signage. The future may also provide completely new kinds of display devices that we cannot imagine today.
As with all technology developments, another thing to be expected is that the cost of hardware will decrease, and the cost of storing immense amounts of data will be very low. This will allow for very advanced digital signage systems with large movie or music libraries that can be combined with all other kinds of content.
