So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This chapter introduces the importance of complex numbers and exponentials which are an integral part of digital communications and digital signal processing (DSP). The reason of delving deep into this area leads the readers to two-dimensional number plane, which help to understand DSP. The operators such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication take people through the complex side of numbers which are explained in two dimensions.
