Abstract
The integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies into transportation systems has given rise to the concept of the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) in smart transportation. IoV holds the potential to enhance road safety, traffic efficiency, and overall transportation management. However, the increased connectivity of vehicles also introduces new challenges related to security and privacy. This section delves into the exploration of blockchain technology as a robust solution for ensuring the security of the Internet of Vehicles. Renowned for its decentralized and tamper-resistant attributes, blockchain provides a secure and transparent framework for managing the vast amounts of data generated by interconnected vehicles.
