Abstract

This chapter provides insight into how to perform successful site surveys the first time, so you can avoid site revisits. The chapter provides details on camera site surveys for area of coverage, network site surveys for connectivity, power surveys for power distribution, including surge suppressors and backup power, and wireless site surveys to determine line of sight, propagation, and deployment.
