Physical Security Integration

Abstract

This chapter provides an architectural view if integration of physical security subsystems includes using the feature set of VMS software, camera, and/or encoder I/O ports as a software interface and the software modules and SDK available from each software developer. The chapter also explores physical security interface software solutions that provide an open architecture middleware solution for integration of separate systems.
