Introduction

There are many types of digital video security (DVS) site surveys for camera locations, network equipment, conduit pathways, raceways, and ducts, both above- and below ground. The objective is gathering and then documenting findings and information to assist in determining if the desired location is suitable for the necessary equipment and meets the conceptual design requirements. This information may include:

• Area of coverage (exactly what is to be monitored)
