CONTINUITY

During shooting, the script (or continuity) supervisor works hardest and longest of anyone. It is many years since I worked with one, so I am indebted for this chapter to the gold mine of procedures and methods in Pat P. Miller’s Script Supervising and Film Continuity, 3rd ed. (Focal Press, 1998).

COORDINATING AND REPORTING

The script supervisor works closely with the director and editor, and plays a key role in guarding against omissions or mismatches in the production.
