Bangladesh is a country with a population of 166 million people, in a geographic area of 144,000 sq. km. Here, people depend mostly on agriculture for their livelihood. Agriculture is an integrated activity with an interrelationship between crops and noncrops like livestock, fishery, and forestry. Crops and noncrops of agriculture are equally vulnerable and at risk of natural disasters arising from intensified global climate change.
