WHO ARE YOU?

Back in the 1970s the English rock band The Who (lead singer Roger Daltrey, guitarist and songwriter Pete Townshend, bassist John Entwistle, and drummer Keith Moon) recorded one of the anthems of the generation, “Who Are You?” In the song, a chorus poses this haunting rhetorical question: “Who are you? Who, who, who, who?”

Okay, the song is about a guy who wakes up in Soho after a drunken, brawling night, and the band wasn’t thinking about CEOs and leaders. But those words still ring in our ears beyond the hangover of our youth. The older we get, the more we think about who we are and what we’re all about. Figuring out what your life is all about is part of understanding your brand.
