STEP 2: TELL THE STORY
As you read Colony’s story, the foundation of his brand becomes clear early in his life. These childhood events shaped who he has become. Now it’s time for you to take the next step; to examine your stories in greater depth. Choose one story, and determine what that experience is telling you about your values.
Once you’ve chosen one of the stories, find a friend, and ask that person to listen to your story and ask you questions. I strongly recommend that you get a digital recorder so you have a record of the conversation. Tell him or her the story.
