The media are interested in issues and trends. Instead of waiting for the call from them, why not have your team pitch high-interest topics? Position yourself as an expert. By doing that, you control the conversation. Be the one out in front. That is part of your role as CEO or leader of your organization. Taking positions in the media definitely builds your brand.
