Leveraging diversity

One would like to imagine that, in today’s multi-cultural, multimedia world, we all have a good appreciation of the extensive and incredible diversification that exists across all human society. We would also like to believe that gone are the days of age, sex, race, cultural or religious bias being a problem.

Unfortunately, this is not the case. We still hear of racial abuse and segregation within communities or disharmony within sub-cultures due to gender, religious, social, ethnic, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical ability, political and, indeed, many other preferences that I may well have missed.

We only have to turn on our TVs to hear and see the latest racial or ethnical preference stories. Yet, ...
