Appendix B. Creating Customized Panels
This appendix provides a partial introduction to some of the many ways in which AutoCAD can be customized to fit the needs of a particular industry, company, or individual user. At this point you probably know how to create customized tool palettes. Tool palettes give you easy access to libraries of frequently used blocks, symbols, and commands. You can also create customized toolbars and ribbon panels to store sets of frequently used commands or commands that you modify to suit your preferences. Creating your own panels is a simple and powerful feature that also gives you some idea of the more complex customization options available.
