Getting Your Data into JMP
To copy and paste data from another application, see “Copying and Pasting Data”.
To import data from another application, see “Importing Data”.
To enter data directly into a data table, see “Entering Data”
To open a data table, double-click on the file, or use the File > Open command.
You can also import data into JMP from a database. For more information, see Using JMP.
This chapter uses sample data tables and sample import data that is installed with JMP. To find these files, see “Using Sample Data” in the “Introducing JMP” chapter.
