PREFACE

Over the years, we have had the privilege of working with a large number of executives and young managers, most with high levels of achievement and potential. Too often, however, we have found they don't feel comfortable with the leadership aspects of their careers. Sometimes they aren't clear about what they should be doing or where they should be heading; sometimes they are frustrated, conflicted, or downright unhappy. Typically, they can't put their finger on a reason. They simply feel that something isn't right.
