Executing Specific Growth Opportunities

In this part of the book, we focus on how to drive specific individual growth initiatives by using discovery-driven-planning principles. The sum total of all the initiatives needs to deliver to the overall strategic frame that was established in the first part of the book. Part 2 provides specific guidance to work through the issues for a given project and recalls that early, cheap failures are not a bad thing, nor is project redirection. Note that you would follow the procedures in the next three chapters for every major growth initiative that is outside the core business, but is part of your strategic growth framework.
