Infinite Impulse Response Filter Design

9.1    Introduction

After covering Chapter 8, where we discussed and presented different methods of frequency transformations, we believe that we are ready to design infinite impulse response (IIR) digital filters. The design of IIR digital filters in this chapter will be based on the design of analogue continuous filters and sampling and transformations.
