Outsourcing by Multinational Corporations

Over the last 40 years, the MNC’s (multi-national corporations) commitment to short-term profits, shareholder value, and outsourcing has resulted in the deindustrialization of America. If these MNCs are really going to pursue their publicized “New Purpose,” they will have to focus on reshoring jobs and industries and reduce outsourcing. So, it is now time for them to walk their talk.
