“What is excellent diversity and inclusion work?” the organizational leader asked the inclusion practitioner.

“It depends,” the inclusion practitioner rightly replied.

“On what?” the leader asked.

The inclusion practitioner responded, “Your goals. Your starting point. Challenges. Your culture. Size of your organization. Sector you are in. Like that. One size does not fit all.”

The leader sighed.
