US and Beyond: Diversity and Inclusion in a Global Setting
A few years ago, I traveled to Kazakhstan to deliver a leadership program for a group of high-ranking government leaders. My colleague and I spent a week with 20 of the country’s top ministry officials as well as local and regional leaders. The majority of these individuals did not speak English, and we had two translators, one speaking Russian and the other Kazakh. All but one of the participants were men, and most of them were older.
