Configuring the First Domino Server
The third step in setting up the first server is to configure it. This is a two-part process. In the first part, you run Domino (not Notes) on the server machine, fill in a form, then wait while Notes (if running under Windows) or Domino (if running under any other OS) creates a new Domino Directory, some IDs, and a few other things. In the second part, you run through a whole checklist of steps to clean up miscellaneous loose ends that Notes didn't take care of automatically.
