Planning and Preparing for the Upgrade
There are three aspects of the planning and preparation process that I want to emphasize: reviewing your hardware capacity to ensure that your hardware will be able to handle the heavier load you're likely to put on it under R5; the value of conducting a dry run before upgrading for real; and the value of education to yourself and your users.
Hardware Review
First, you need to understand that Domino and Notes R5 do more than they did in R4. So, it should be no surprise that they use more computer resources than R4.
