You don't have to write for a major newspaper to have your opinions shared with the world. And you definitely don't need to come up with 300 pages for a best-selling book covering your favorite hobby. I could have titled this chapter "Become Famous Using Web Logs." You might be surprised by the number of people who have built a reputation (and a fortune) by creating and writing a web log (or blog for short) of their own. Do a Google search for Matt Drudge, Paul Kos, and Glenn Reynolds to see how a few individuals turned their opinions into fame and fortune.
