Introduction to Color
A good designer is a master manipulator of color. The color palette is an integral part of scenic, costume, and lighting designs. The effective use of color plays a major role in evoking period, time, and emotion. A deep understanding of color mixing and manipulation is the basis for the subtle and creative use of color for the stage.
