CATS IN A BAG
Step One With so much of the cats’ bodies obscured by the bag, this is a relatively simple drawing. I don’t have to worry much about the accuracy of their bodies, so I create the outline freehand. I begin by drawing the bag, and then I place the facial features and indicate the main areas of fur. I include plenty of detail in the outline, which saves me from having to assess the placement of elements as I progress. I even indicate the serrated edge of the bag.
