IN THIS EXERCISE, WE USE WHITE WASHES IN GOUACHE TO CREATE A BASIC FORM, AND THEN ADD DETAIL WORK WITH GEL PENS TO DEFINE AND GIVE LIFE TO OUR SUBJECT.

Newspaper or large craft paper
Palette
White gouache
Inexpensive brush for mixing
Black heavy cardstock or watercolor paper
Mop brush
Round brush
