Our next medium brings a whole new world to our drawing work—the ability to have the crisp brilliant line work of the pen plus the advantage of being able to use a wet brush to create beautiful washes of color. The types of ink pens we can use are so varied—from the bold graphic black line of a technical pen, to the fluid rainbow of colors available with markers and brush pens, to the metallic glimmer of gel pens. In this section, we explore them all.
