6. Fade
Gray-scale is a series of tones ranging from black to white through intermediate shades of gray. There is less contrast and a smaller range of gray-scale values in the background of a picture. Forms and objects that are closer to the foreground are not only bigger but also much clearer than the ones in the distance.
