William Andrew Loomis was an American illustrator, writer, and art instructor who studied at the Art Students League of New York under George Bridgman and Frank DuMond. Much of his work was featured in magazines and advertising campaigns, but some of his most significant contributions to the arts came in the drawing books he wrote.
